Brian Ashcroft, Emeritus Professor of the University of Strathclyde and the former Director of Fraser of Allander Institute, talks about Scottish independence from an economist’s viewpoint, with the following headings: (1) Basic features of Scottish economy; (2) Important issues after the Brexit vote; (3) Scotland’s future; (4) A Scottish separate currency; and (5) Scottish independence.
